Scammers are impersonating celebrities on TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms, pretending to host “money and car giveaways.”
⚠️ How the scam works:
- They create fake accounts using celebrity names/photos.
They message users saying things like “Have you heard about my ongoing giveaway?” to lure them in.
“My Congratulations database randomly you one of luckiest winner on my TIKTOK page and you got a price of ($300,000.00) and a brand new Truck to claim.
- They claim you’ve “won” huge prizes like $500,000 or a luxury car.
- They try to move the conversation to Telegram, WhatsApp, Signal, Zangi, or other chat apps where it’s harder to track them.
- They use fake AI-generated videos and photos of celebrities — sometimes even with fans — to make the scam look convincing.
- They then ask for personal details, payment for taxes/fees, or try to trick you into clicking dangerous links.
🔴 Important:
✅ Real celebrities do not message random fans offering money or cars.
✅ Never move to private chat apps when asked by strangers.
✅ Don’t trust “proof” videos or pictures — scammers can fake them with AI.
✅ Always check the celebrity’s official verified accounts or website — if there’s no mention of a giveaway, it’s a scam.
✅ Report and block suspicious accounts immediately.
Stay alert and protect yourself online. 🛡️
